  110. To install ResSched:
  111.  
  112. 1)
  113. Unzip the file archive into an empty temporary subdirectory (Note: some
  114. sources for ResSched may not have the program files in a .zip archive)
  115.

  118. Run INSTALL.EXE, either from Program Manager (Windows 3.1) or
  119. Start (Windows95) and specify the directory you want ResSched installed
  120. into
  121.  
  122. 3)
  123. If you wish your data to be in a different directory from your
  124. executable files (exe,dll), you must change the Working Directory (Start
  125. In for Windows95).  You also must move the file SYSLIC.TPS to the data
  126. directory.

  128. 4) If you are already using ResSched Single User and wish to keep your
  129. pld data you must run the CONVERT.program before running ResSched multi-
  130. user. Move ther resulting resadat.tps file to your preferred dat
  131. directory.  Make a back up of you existing data before doing the
  132. conversio.

  135. The first time ResSched is run it will create a user ID of
  136. 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA' and a password of '1111111111'.  Use this ID to create
  137. other User ID's (at least one with System Administrator access rights)
  138. and then delete the 'AAAAAAAAAAAAAAA' ID.

  141. Select File>System Preferences from the main ResSched window and enter
  142. the full path of the directy for your data files.

  145. If you are using Windows 3.1 and get "file creation" error when first
  146. using ResSched, check to ensure that either SHARE.EXE is in your
  147. AUTOEXEC.BAT file or the VSHARE.386 driver is loaded in your SYSTEM.INI
